Formula Drift Orlando

June 4-5, 2015: Our first Formula Drift Pro 2 event had me driving from Vancouver, BC to Orlando, FL. About as far a spossible diagonally across the country and 52hrs each way! This was a great way to break into the series and we wanted to make an impact in our first event ever as a rookie.

With over 35 drivers from across the globe I was a little stressed knowing that more than half the drivers would be eliminated after qualifying alone and sent packing. I never did let this cross my mind and I knew we would be okay as long as the Independent Speed Shop 240sx continued proving to be a reliable and well sorted vehicle.. and that it was!

May 3, 2015: We are race winners at the Cascade Sports Car Club first race of the season at Portland International Raceway. This was the Pratt and Miller Camaro’s maiden voyage with the new Katech engine. 600hp and a 6-speed transaxle sequential make this one of the quickest cars on the west coast. Everything ran flawlessly with the exception of the flatshift, we will have this hooked up the next time the car goes out on track! Come for a ride inside with me as we do over 170mph down into turn 1!

Display at Vancouver International Auto Show

Posted on April 12, 2015

The Brody Goble Motorsports/Independent Speed Shop FD Pro 2 vehicle was on display for 6 days at the 2015 Vancouver International Auto Show allowing over 98,000 people to stop by and see it in person at the largest Vancouver Auto Show to date. Thanks must go out to Drive Marketing Group who have teamed up with us to help promote our program across Canada and into the United States, the vehicle was on display in their booth alongside other notable vehicles such as 3 Liberty Walk r35 GTR’s, multiple Lamborghini’s and more. It was great to meet so many that either share a passion for drifting and racing in general as well as talk to newcomers to the sport and see their interest in coming out to their first event to watch the action go down in person. We look forward to new opportunities with Drive Marketing Group this season.
