Cascade Regional Karting Event #2
TaG Senior was one of the only classes all weekend long where a driver went nearly all weekend long without being threatened. Birel pilot Russell Francis set the pace (and set a track record of 47.526) from the beginning and led all weekend, but second place was a slugfest. Sodikart ace and hometown boy, Geoffrey Roberti, had his hands full all weekend long as a slew of Canadians came to play. Qualifying would put Francis on top, Roberti in second and Canadian shoe Brody Goble (Italkart) in third. While Francis remained comfortably out front, Roberti and Goble would share second place honors in the heats with Goble prevailing in 2 out of 3. The two drivers swapped positions numerous times throughout the heats, so the feature was up for grabs. Francis completed the weekend sweep to stand on top of the box, and it was Brody Goble who secured second place with Roberti settling for third. Fellow Italkart drivers Taylor Hacquard and Nick Vytdehaag came home fourth and fifth respectively.
